Penrite Racing’s Anton De Pasquale put down his best lap and secured sixth for tomorrow’s Great Race.
The young gun was fourth in line to complete his lap after qualifying seventh yesterday and managed to improve one spot, laying down a lap time of 2:04.7688.
The team will line up tomorrow morning at 11:00am local time for the 1000-kilometre marathon, with his teammate David Reynolds just behind in P13
Anton De Pasquale commented: “My lap was decent; I didn’t get the run I wanted in turn one but other than that I thought my lap was good. I think our car good heading into tomorrow. The weather is going to mix things up a bit but I know whatever happens Brodie will carry his own well and be strong in his sections of the race. I think if both of us are able to do a good job then we will be able to get a strong result.”
